I’m pleased to say that Lowe Alpine has received some continued mention, this time coming in the July edition of Shape Magazine.  On page 126, the GETFIT section features 2 of our pieces – Seamless Tank and Seamless Tee (note that we’re the only brand to receive 2 products!)  I’m working on getting an image for you but figured I’d share in the meantime.

Lowe Alpine’s Mintaka 25 Pack (WOMENS) was awarded BEST IN TEST 2005 in Britain’s Best Selling Walking Magazine,

Country Walking.   

The Mintaka 25 was up against formidable competitors such as Deuter and Jack Wolfskin but in the end Lowe Alpine was TRIUMPHANT!!!

Comfort & Fit 10/10

The back system and harness fitted me exceptionally well, and the narrow, padded and contoured shoulder straps felt comfortable, even with a heavy load. The chest strap also has a wide range of adjustment.  The back system has lots of padding and the load sits nice and close, feeling snug and stable.

 

Performance 8/10

The top pocket is big and there are two ample side pockets, plus an elasticated front pocket – useful for carrying wet clothes or a map.  Good to see space for a hydration system, and a rain cover.

 

VERDICT

4 stars out of 5

A stable rucksack with a streamlined design, roomy interior and good pockets.  The back system and harness are comfortable – much thought has gone into making them fit the female form.
