Choosing an orthotic is like
any other product you buy. Why should I buy
that brand? When it comes to choosing an
orthotic, we encourage consumers to ask the
challenging questions. Who makes it? Who
designed the product, and what
qualifications do they have?
Superfeet actually began back
in the mid 70’s as the Sports Division of a
leading Podiatric Laboratory. In 1977
Superfeet became its own company, with the
mandate to ‘provide more affordable
orthotics to the general public’. Since
their beginning almost 30 years ago,
Superfeet has been providing premium insoles
for different types of feet, for different
activities and sports. Effective May 2006,
Superfeet introduced an Employee Stock
Ownership Program (ESOP) to reward their
employees for their years of dedicated
service and effort. Those same employees
created for themselves their own set of Core
Values. When you wear a pair of Superfeet
you get more than just an insole. It
reflects the passion and commitment of
everyone at Superfeet to provide you healthy
feet and a better life.
Superfeet currently
distributes throughout North America,
Europe, Japan and Australia. Truly, a
Superfeet Worldwide Inc.
The founders of Superfeet, doctors
Dennis N. Brown, D.Sc. (Hon) and Christopher
Smith D.P.M own and operate Northwest
Podiatric Laboratory in Washington State,
one of the world’s leading Podiatric
Laboratories.
Dennis and Chris have been
working on feet for over 45 years, and
during that time period estimate they have
personally worked on over a million pair of
feet. Chris taught at the California College
of Podiatry for over 25 years, and was
bestowed the honor of Professor Emeritus for
Biomechanics upon his retirement. Both are
acknowledged by their peers as pioneers of
leading edge technology in the craft and
science of Podiatry. The shape and design of
all Superfeet products reflect Dennis’ and
Chris’ over 45 years of experience, and the
knowledge gained from working on those
million pair of feet.
We challenge any other
product to meet this benchmark of
credibility!
