Spiffy Dog Pet Products is the new kid on the block—founded in 2002 by Edward Watson and John Cardillo of Steamboat Springs, CO. Being based in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in a dog friendly town gives us access to beautiful rivers and trails for testing our unique pet products. Edward and John’s experience in the design and manufacture of climbing, kayaking and outdoor lifestyle accessories gives them the tools and know how to come up with the very best pet products available.

Edward and John took the unique, "techy" materials that they were using for human outdoor products and began to apply them to products for their canine family---Abby, Alex (John's German Shepherds) and Lucy (Edward's Golden Retriever) and the local dog community. The feedback was positive and thus was born Spiffy Dog Pet Products, LLC.

Air Collar

Perfect for your water dog, the Air Collar is the newest innovation in dog collar technology. This collar is constructed of soft Nylon Aerospacer. Aerospacer is a material that is constructed with small air chambers within the outside layers. These air chambers along with hydrofil nylon wick away water allowing the collar to breathe and dry faster, resisting odors and mildew. The Air Collar is great for dogs with short hair because it is soft and does not rub on the dogs skin like some leather and webbing collars. This Collar is also great for dogs with allergies to some collars. The Air Collar is super strong and the buckle is made especially for dogs and will not break. The Air Collar comes in adjustable small (16-20") and large (20-26") and we have many colors and prints to choose from.

Let 'Em Lead Dog Leash

A functional dog leash with style. The Let 'Em Lead is made from heavy-duty nylon webbing and has all metal parts for that extra piece of mind. It also has a snazzy comfortable wrist handle that will match the Spiffy Dog Air Collar. Use the Let 'Em Lead to tether your dog when you have to enter somewhere your furry friend cannot go.

Directions for use: Just unclip the carabiner from the webbing and run webbing around a tree, post, etc. and reclip the carabiner back to the webbing. Also, convert the Let 'Em Lead from a 6' leash to a 4' leash by clipping the carabiner to the snaphook at the bottom of the leash.

Doggy Reflection Protection

Finally a safety product for you and your dog that really works. The DRP's were designed by our friend, Royce Meyers. Royce came up with the idea when he would walk his black lab 'BO' at night on the streets in Denver.

The DRP's are unique because they attach to your dogs legs and move when the dog moves. The highly reflective material is easily noticed when light hits them. So what you see is flashes moving rapidly drawing your attention to the dog. These are great for hunting dogs or our heroic search and rescue dogs.

Sizing: The DRP's are designed to be cut and sized to your dog's legs. When you receive your DRP's there will be directions on cutting and sizing to fit your dogs legs.

Will your dog wear the DRP's? Yes! At first your dog will act like he or she is walking in wet cement, but as soon as the activity starts, quickly forgets they are wearing them.
